Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These terms govern your access to and use of CarbonLens (carbonlenss.com and the CarbonLens application). By creating an account or using CarbonLens, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and, if applicable, the organisation you represent.

2. What CarbonLens is

CarbonLens is a decision-support and data-management tool for carbon accounting and BRSR/ESG reporting. It helps you organise, calculate, and generate reports from data your organisation enters. CarbonLens does not file regulatory submissions on your behalf, and does not provide legal, accounting, or assurance services. Responsibility for the accuracy and timeliness of any regulatory filing (including BRSR reports filed with stock exchanges or SEBI) remains with your organisation.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide, for keeping your login credentials confidential, and for activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at sales@carbonlenss.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

4. Your data

You (or your organisation) own the business data you enter into CarbonLens. You grant us the right to host, process, and display that data solely to provide the service to you. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle data.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the platform to store or transmit unlawful content;
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other organisations' data or to our systems;
• Reverse-engineer, resell, or white-label the platform without our written agreement; or
• Interfere with the normal operation of the service (e.g. through excessive automated requests).

6. Subscriptions and payment

Paid plans are billed according to the plan you select at checkout or as agreed in a separate order form. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise in your order form.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

CarbonLens is provided "as is". We do not warrant that the platform will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that any report it generates is complete or compliant with every applicable regulatory requirement. You are responsible for reviewing generated reports before relying on or filing them.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CarbonLens will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including any regulatory penalty arising from an inaccurate or late filing.

9. Termination

You may stop using CarbonLens and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms. On termination, we will retain your data only as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

11. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of CarbonLens after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
